MIO-Z27 High Build Epoxy MIO Midcoat
MIO-Z27 is a two-component polyamide cured epoxy coating colored with micaceous iron oxide.
Field for industrial protective paint: Suitable for steel structures and equipment such as bridges, storage tank outer walls, steel frames, conveyors, and tubular bridges.
Typical uses and features：
- Due to its micaceous iron oxide pigmentation and excellent adhesion to steel surfaces, the coating forms very strong and durable films. It can be used as a primer or intermediate coat in corrosive environments. Using special curing agents, the paint can be cured even in sub-zero temperatures.
- Recoating can be carried out after a long period of time. The features that do not require coarsening saves time and reduces the cost of paint system application.
- Impressive track record of projects in bridge construction, pulp, paper and power industry. This coating is widely used in NORSOK and SSG approved systems.
- Used as a primer or intermediate coat in epoxy and polyurethane systems exposed to severe weathering and spatter.
